The official word from Canal Corp: "Notice to Mariners: Erie Canal - Schenectady to Little Falls The Erie Canal between Lock E-7 Vischer Ferry and Lock E-17 Little Falls will be reopened at 8:00 AM on Saturday, August 23rd. Mariners are advised to be on the lookout for debris. The entire New York State Canal System, with the exception of Syracuse Inner Harbor, will then be open to navigation." Fred Tug 44
