1/14. Stratford, Short Beach Park - the flock of 18 Snow Geese of yesterday continues on the golf course at the south end of lot. Plus Alex Busato found a male EURASIAN WIGEON among a flock of AMWI along the park shore this morning. Unfortunately the flock of 30 Am Wigeon it was with took off, flew east, and landed on the east side of the offshore breakwater; leaving about 80 Wigeon still at the park. I suspect later when the tide drops the EURASIAN might be findable again feeding on the tidal shallows of the Housatonic River mouth there at the park.
