Just spoke with Herbert, the skipper that was going with Alan Calloway on Osprey. It seems that they were unable to arrange insurance for the Suez canal, so instead of heading westbound, they're going to go around the other way. They hope that things will be a bit less dramatic by the time they're ready to head from the Med to the Red Sea. Herbert tells me that the boat is currently in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. They plan to leave around March 21.
