Cruising America's Great Loop and other inland routes
View all threadsMike,
The boat is still in the mud, tilted about 20 degrees, and all is well
with it. I am getting a lot of phone calls, knocks on the door and emails
from local folks
who happened to see it when they drove by... sure does look strange!

Wow! Very beautiful! I would show the photos to my wife, but then she'd
want me to copy our green thumb....wouldn't happen!
How's the boat in the mud?

It's about 25 degrees, there's snow and ice crust all over everything,
and
the canal is drained. So obviously this is the perfect time to think
about
flowers.
Judging by the number of flower pots and trays I see on the decks of
trawlers all summer long, I think quite a few of you would be interested
in
what grew in my gardens this summer:

After all, some of you cruisers occasionally step up onto land, right?
