Re: 3D Design Courses and Resources

Thanks for all of the information! I particularly like the book list
provided by William F.Adams.

My reason for getting into OpenSCAD and 3D printing was the desire to build
an AZ-EL tracker.  It took months of learning about OpenSCAD, Raspberry Pi,
gears, pulleys, stepper motors, etc.  And it worked... mostly.  It worked
fine for the Sun, the Moon, planets, and stars.  But it never really worked
for my main goal, satellite tracking.

Gears, bearings, and pulleys I get.  I get stuck designing the supporting
structures for those movements.
