I have always wanted a boat that I could paint with a broom and hose out

The trawler I am having built with have a commercial finished
exterior painted with commercial big ship paint on a steel hull.
While the inside will have teak decks, only the aft deck will have
teak. The rest is painted.

My concern was with a "yacht" finish, if and when I hit something, i
will cry twice..
Once, for the stupid mistake I made hitting whatever I hit.
Second, the estimate / bill to repair.
Would like to cry only once...
