On last year's trip across the Pacific I discovered how nice it is to be away from all of that E-stuff! Aside from an occassional position report (sent via SMS text message on an Iridium Sta-phone) I was perfectly happy to wait until the next port to check on Email, etc. And this is from a guy who lives in the Internet and makes his living with Email - to the tune of more than 1000 Emails per day!
