You might not know that a Weird Cabal of artists have been creating movie posters for the Grand Cinemas Weird Elephant showings. Each artist takes turns creating a poster and then sells prints of them in the lobby prior to the showing of the film. Prints of some of the past posters are available as well. Not all posters are available because of the prints are limited and when they are gone they are gone. Prints are extremely affordable at $10 some at $20.
This Friday and Saturday "Mad God" prints by Mark Monlux will be the newest offering. Some of the other artists involved are RR Anderson, Colin Andersen, Mark Brill, Stan Brown, Allen Freeman, Jennevieve Schlemmer, and Anique Zimmer.
