When I was watching the Purple martin colony, I met 2 other Audubon members who volunteer at the Deer Farm Audubon in Sherman. This was their first visit here. We had a nice chat and they really enjoyed our colony. They told me that at the Purple martin colony at the Deer Farm location, there was one gourd that had both Purple martins and Tree swallows nesting together. That was new to me. Bev
