Thanks to Chris B for doing a count today despite the less than ideal winds
to start.

Weather:
Temps hovered around 11C-12C. Winds were moderate, shifting from WSW to
WNW. Cloud cover began at around 95% with much clearing later.

Raptor Observations:
The morning was extremely quiet in terms of raptors and non-raptors. Once a
sliver of N appeared in the wind mid-day, a few birds started showing up
– but only 71 by the end of the observation period. Most were Redtails
(40).

Non-raptor Observations:
Non-raptors included: Canada Goose, Herring Gull, Ring-billed Gull,
American Crow, Blue Jay, American Goldfinch, European Starling, Red-bellied
Woodpecker, Hairy Woodpecker, Downy Woodpecker, White-breasted Nuthatch,
Black-capped Chickadee, White-throated Sparrow, Carolina Wren, Ruby-crowned
Kinglet, Purple Finch, Pine Siskin, Dark-eyed Junco, American Robin,
Eastern Bluebird, Golden-crowned Kinglet, Northern Cardinal, Mourning Dove,
Cedar Waxwing, Evening Grosbeak, and Eastern Meadowlark.

Also noteworthy was a single late (!) Monarch.
