Larry, around 1970ish there was a car always parked at the old Davidson Lab
back when it was in the Navy building, it was a Citroen with clear plastic
wings on top.  was that yours?

It is interesting that many members of the Great Loop list were associated
with Stevens Institute or the USMMA at Kings Point. I conducted research
and did occasional teaching at both institutions during the 60s. I even had
an office at the Davidson Labs where the America's Cup contenders of that
decade were tested.?But my memories of those days are getting hazy. Perhaps
some of you were my students.

Nah - that's a picture of Larry's current car, not his old car from the 70s!

Shhhhhh! Those are modifications which serve to defy the laws of physics!
Larry got the idea when he repeatedly saw the Citroen raise up when the
engine was started and lowered when it was turned off. Larry thought to
himself, "Why does the car have to stop rising? Why couldn't it
levitate and fly?" Hence the wings which swing out at 35 mph. Traffic has
posed a problem on takeoff and landing so Larry is working on an agreement
with Walmart to have areas in their parking lots designated for takeoff and
landing - right next to RV parking. Way to apply those PHDs Larry!

Ah, but it is not French and it lacks Larry's Plexiglass fins.
