I am helping a non-profit get donations for their up coming auction. The non-profit is called Coffee Oasis, and they help homeless teens get housing and get what they need to go forward in life.. Please see the following information. Attached, the Procurement Letter's first page explains the non-profit's goal, and the Procurement Form is what someone needs to submit (by Sept 1) if they are willing to donate an item to the auction. Hi Nellie, Hope all is well! Please find the gala procurement letter and form attached. I've also included a few talking points that you could also add into an email and/or text. Please don't hesitate to give me a call if you need anything else. Thank you so much for reaching out to local businesses and restaurants about auction donations for this year's gala!! I'm excited to see what you procure! Mission Statement:
Restoring communities through compassionate youth programs and coffee businesses.
About Coffee Oasis:Currently celebrating 25 years of operation, The Coffee Oasis is a faith-based non-profit organization that exists to create pathways of opportunity for youth to be restored in heart, soul, mind, and body. We believe youth are the future of our community, but many are hurting, homeless, and hindered from living their full potential. The Coffee Oasis youth programs offer a place for the community to invest in their future—the youth. We do this through creating safe shared spaces, mentorship, street and school outreach, goal setting, job training, shelter, and crisis intervention. The only way for our mission to succeed is through the support of the entire community—intentional inter-generational and cross-cultural investment.. We accomplish this mission through sustainable and successful coffee businesses. The cafés offer a “third place” for the community to gather and buy products with the added value of all profits returning to create opportunities for youth. Three years ago, Coffee Oasis opened its first Pierce County location. The Loft Youth Shelter is a 12 bed DCYF licensed under-aged youth shelter in Tacoma, WA that provides youth a safe and encouraging place to live while they work towards sustainable housing and employment. Construction on our first Tacoma cafe and youth drop-in center has begun and both will open this October right below the shelter. Youth Programs:Since 1997, The Coffee Oasis has offered hope and opportunity to youth ages 13-25 in Washington state. Thousands of youth have found community and healing through The Coffee Oasis Youth Programs. Creating opportunities for youth to thrive, The Coffee Oasis youth programs offer youth and young adults a safe place to learn and grow. Youth are welcome to join Coffee Oasis for fun activities and classes at our drop-in centers (Tacoma youth drop in center opening in October 2022) or shoot off a text via our 24 hour text line—whether youth just need a listening ear or are experiencing a crisis—no matter what, Coffee Oasis is here for them! Coffee & Corks Details:Join us online or on-site for this hybrid event!
