Next spring we are planning on exploring the Chesapeake bay for the summer.
Can anyone suggest a good cruising guide to study this winter? want to
visit a  lot of those places we missed on the loop.

thanks

See you on  the Waterways!

Get a Subscription to Chesapeake Bay magazine and then in October get the 2017 Waterway Guide!!!!
You are smart to plan as it is overwhelming the choices and diversity of the Bay!
We spent 41/2 months on the bay last summer. Did not see it all.
We spent close to a month at Yorkhaven Marina directly across from Yorktown!  You are within 15 miles of the first settlement at Jamestown , the Colonial Capitol of Williamsburg as well as the last battle ground at Yorktown!
I can go on for hours but if you want to see where we went go to Facebook and check out Theresa's blog:
