By now most of you are likely aware that we lost a past Gator/club officer/friend, Kristen Oswald, in a tragic event at last Sunday's IRONMAN Ohio 70.3 race. Our club leadership team has taken the proactive step of putting together a meeting for our membership taking place tomorrow/Thursday night, August 1 at 7pm in the Spring Valley YMCA's large conference room. Here is the content of the invite... *Please join the Gators on Thursday, August 1st at the Spring Valley YMCA in the Large Conference Room for a support meeting to discuss the recent tragedy in our club as well as an open forum for safety questions. We will have Grief Counselors and Race Directors on hand to provide support and guidance on how to deal with a loss of a friend, steps to move forward and what Race Directors are doing to keep the athlete safe.* *This meeting is open to ALL CLUB MEMBERS to attend in person.
