Hello George and all.  Like you, We set out to sea trial every available
powercat in the charter service beginning in 2002.  We eventually commissioned
a CharterCats 42 Prowler and took delivery in early 2004.  Despite the
company's demise, I still find my vessel to be comparable to those costing
twice as much.  The original Prowler, a Schionning design, is now being built
by CruiserCats of SA as the Tortuga 42.  They also build a Havana 38 with a
more "cruiser" appearance which has excellent range , speed, and generous
engine room access.

We use our cat frequently between FL east coast and the Bahamas and find the
handling and ride of this size cat very comfortable and reassuring.  Capt. T
