The Poetry Garden is a component of Blue Poppy Day, a partner event brought to you by the City of Federal Way Arts Commission and the Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden (RSBG). Blue Poppy Day is a collaboration with the City of Federal Way Arts Commission that celebrates artistic talent from Puget Sound, the connection between the complementary beauty of art and nature, and the blooming of two rare Himalayan Blue Poppy meadows at the Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden.  Now in its 9th year, Blue Poppy Day attracts 2,500 visitors each year and includes 6 performances, a poetry garden, food trucks, and activities for families.
