There IS uniformed security on site.but most of their presence seems more around the hotel complex and the south docks, where the big mega-yacht guys are. Ironically the bike rack where the bike was stolen is about 200yds from their security office. On a positive note, we had been experiencing some erratic function of our Grunert fridge/freezer. Being new to the area presents some challenges trying to find reputable service. Happened to see a truck parked in the lot of a company who specializes in air conditioning/refrigerator service. Gave the guy a call on a chance. Long story short they responded immediately, professionally, and worked very hard resolving the problem. Very competent.
