On the Aventure 50 we fitted bilge pumps in each compartment that
should exceeded
any amount of water that could come through those sea-cocks. (broken pipe etc)

In the engine room we did the same capacity in bilge pumps to handle the
3 sea-cocks and stern tube in each hull.

Now assuming you have holed the boat and the engines are still running, which
should not have been affected by a hole in the boat, we have a
diverter valve on the
engine intake which then allows us to evacuate water rapidly via the
engine as well
as all the other pumps.

If the water flows from hull to the next we have once again all those
bilge pumps and engine capacity,
if these 10 pumps and the 2 engines cannot contain the leak it is
time to make other decisions.

Regards,

Tim
