Dear friends in Tacoma,
Our recorded online performance will premiere on Friday, February 11
(not on the 4th; I've corrected the flyer below) by 7 pm, and will
continue to be available online for quite some time. It will be free,
with no tickets or advance registration required(with heartfelt thanks
to our donors). We're preparing early 17th-century repertoire for
dulcian, or renaissance bassoon (Anna Marsh), theorbo and lute (John
Lenti)and renaissance flute by Buonamente, Merula, Sweelinck, Castello,
Cima, Selma y Salaverde and others. This is such exciting music,
particularly in the context of the fabulous aural landscape that these
instruments provide. We'll offer more information in advance next week.
Many thanks,
Jeffrey
