Hi Ted: You can avoid this by having  "LIFT HERE" labels as mention by Rudy. I have 8 labels (4 on each side) in case the lift has 2  or 4 slings. My labels are made of plastic with embossed letters (1 1/2 " x 3/4") screwed in the hull sides just below the taff rails. Easily seen by the lift operator. FWIW Leonard Stern INDIFFERENCE
