the tower is restricted to the official counter and one assigned spotter,
whose names have been provided in advance to the appropriate authorities.

Weather:
Below freezing, winds from northern sector gaining strength during day,
cloud clearing to cloudless skies
Raptor Observations:
First bird seen was Merlin harassing crows before moving on, 3 Bald Eagles
going east and 2 west (all adult, no migrants), dark morph Rough-legged
Hawk, local Cooper's Hawk, & Sharp-shinned Hawk going east (not counted)
Non-raptor Observations:
2 Common Ravens entertained us with multiple flights including one close to
the tower
