The adult WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW continued at the feeders today. It was scared out of the bird bath (along with the rest of the birds) by an immature NORTHERN HARRIER later this evening. I stopped at the CAS Center in Fairfield today, and I'm glad I did - birds were everywhere. Unfortunately, I had nothing except my eyes, and could stay for less than an hour, but I still assembled a good list. I even had a BLACK VULTURE on the way home - all in all a great day with very, very little effort.
