...the House Ed & Labor Dems Workforce bill was just introducedhttps://edlabor.house.gov/media/press-releases/in-response-to-rising-unemployment-democrats-introduce-legislation-to-invest-15-billion-in-workforce-training-needed-to-relaunch-the-economy.

As a next step, here is the link to a sign on letterhttps://secure.everyaction.com/bVTMDdnpFkWI_aMu__MkWg2 to Congressional leadership calling for $15.6 billion investment in workforce, consistent with the bill.

You’ll see the content of the letter is a slightly updated version of the previous CIAW letter, on which we had more than 40 national organizations. If each signer adds 10 folks from their network, we could have almost 500 organizations calling for this investment!

Will folks circulate the link to your networks and affiliates?

The goal will be to send up a letter, supporting this level of investment, the week of May 11th.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Best,

Katie

As a next step, here is the link to a sign on letterhttps://nam01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fsecure.everyaction.com%2FbVTMDdnpFkWI_aMu__MkWg2&data=02%7C01%7Ccdc22%40psu.edu%7Cb15c060bdc784f96f49908d7edf40930%7C7cf48d453ddb4389a9c1c115526eb52e%7C0%7C0%7C637239504696736709&sdata=cXOxIkG7nIHEVwSqfVm8qiQ6IhAKSs1ToMTi5EVV2X0%3D&reserved=0 to Congressional leadership calling for $15.6 billion investment in workforce, consistent with the bill.

Best,

Katie
