The CollectionSpace team is pleased to announce the release of CollectionSpace 1.0, which includes the Location and Movement procedure, repeatable fields and some repeatable groups of fields, the ability for the user to add names and places to the appropriate vocabulary on the fly, an enhanced date picker, dimensions, and includes fundamental infrastructure for Roles and Permissions to be released in the future. Additionally, the team improved system performance; this work included an upgrade to Nuxeo 5.3.2. Release 1.0 is the culmination of 9 releases of CollectionSpace and supports seven Spectrum procedures, vocabularies, user management, identification number generator, date handling, repeatability, security, and intuitive methods to relate records.
