Dear Colleagues,

My colleague Sheena Sood and I have organized an independently curated bus
tour to accompany our regional spotlight session at this year's ASA
conference in Philadelphia.

This bus tour is in conjunction with and proceeds our regional spotlight
session entitled "

Social Movements for Transformation.

? It focuses on Black Radical History with stops at historical sites of
militarized repression, resistance, and healing in Philly and is led by
Michael Africa, Jr, a life long member of the MOVE organization. The tour
will be on Sunday, August 12th from 4:30-7:30.

Purchase tickets through eventbrite

the MOVE family. Please share this with your section listserv.

Thank you for sharing with your colleagues,
