Hello Mike: Very interesting re your description of the keel make up. I do
wonder why no ballast is planned for the interior of the keel. When we had our
Marine Trader built in 1979 we had the factory put in lead in the hollow
keel.  For us this has worked out well. Regards and safe journey. Leonard  Stern,

Hello fellow cruisers,

Sorry to inerrupt this thread about keels, but......

In a recent listing here there was mention of a power/trawler-cat
cruising site, too. I inquired of Scott, who manages this e-mail
exchange. He said he'd heard about a power-cat exchange, too, but
suggested I inquire here for more info.

Again, my apologies for interrupting your monohull-trawler site; I look
forward to remaining connected here, too, for most cruising topics are
common to either type of hull design. But I'd also like to explore
further the power-cat option, so any suggestions where to find that site
are much appreciated.

Cheers,

Rod Gibbons
