Old Boys (and close to Old Boys) rugby this weekend at Cook Park

Gents,

I know that there are Old Boy games down in Elizabeth this weekend in which
Skippy and others are planning on playing.  I certainly encourage everyone
who is able to make it out to Elizabeth to do so.  That being said, the
Portland Old Boars are playing the Highlander Old Boys at 1 pm at Cook Park
on Saturday and they are looking for players.  They need players to
complete their back line and subs for their forwards.  Since this is an Old
Boy game, they are looking for players at or close to 35 but would probably
take anyone in their 30s.  If interested, contact Matt Welton (
mwelton@msn.com) of the POBs directly.  I'm thinking of playing myself.
Anyone else?

Scotty Norris, can you forward this message to your OB contacts in Boulder
and elsewhere?  Thanks in advance.

Quins,

Get in some fitness training this weekend. The season starts now. We have our first organized training on Wednesday at 6:30 at Wash park in the usual spot (gazebo on the East).  If you're in town, you should be at this training session.  This will be a fitness session led by our new head coach, Pete Borlace.

There are OB matches in Elizabeth and at Cook this Saturday. If you're "old", get out for a run, if you're young, come watch. It's time to get back in a rugby state of mind.

Cheers,

Casey
