The judge in the lawsuit brought by the coalition of states to block HHS' decision to cancel $11 billion in public health funding granted the states' TRO yesterday. As far as I can tell, there isn't a written order yet (the docket just noted the decision). Good afternoon:
I am passing along a complaint that was filed by a coalition of states against the federal government based on HHS' abrupt termination of $11 billion in public health funding on 3/24. The states argue the termination is unlawful under the APA. We talked about this funding termination on our last call and it is also impacting local governments so I wanted to pass this along.
