Nominations for the City of Tacoma's 25th annual City of Destiny Awards, which spotlights exceptional volunteers who have worked to drive Tacoma forward, are being accepted now through Jan. 14, 2011. Eligibility requirements for the nine award categories - which include an Environmental Sustainability category - are available on the current nomination form at http://www.cityoftacoma.org/destinyawards. Those nominated in previous years must be nominated again using the current nomination form in order to be considered.
