I have a rough draft of the quins early history from Fitzgerald. I will send tomorrow.

Aaron,
Club almost folded one season named changed to Denver Transit Company for one season and then the big meeting to become the Denver Harlequins -- Tom Cirkal and Tom Lane might be able to elucidate.

Yes, the grey comes from the Littleton merger.
I had heard about the Denver Barristers name, but I hadn't heard of the Denver Transit Company name before today.

Aaron,
If I remember correctly the original colors were red and blue horizontal stripes when the team was the Barristers --- why ask Brian Fitz -- he should remember
Then when we were the Denver Transit Company for a short time they were white -- Hell easy to buy
Maybe Tom Lane would remember -- Why?
Then we change he name to the Denver Harlequins and went with the original Red and Blue but with alternating Squares
Where the Gray comes from I am not sure possibly when the club combined with Littleton
We'll if there every was a nebulous answer the above fits the bill
Hope it helps

What were the thoughts when we chose the team's colors? Do they have any special meaning? (i.e. blue for the Colorado sky, red for the blood we shed together, grey for the color of a Rhino)
I'm trying to get some info to pump up our website, so any help would be appreciated.
