This free metal-inspired festival features free museum admission, robot demonstrations from SOTAbots<http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XslBqBYpFRs>, a molten aluminum pour, dancing, music, a performance by Rainier Ringers English Hand Bell Choir<http://rainierringers.org/>, gallery scavenger hunts, art-making activities, and the third annual Iron Artist Competition with fashion show. Pre-selected participating artists create wearable art masterpieces using surprise materials in a one-hour high-pressure art extravaganza. Watch, participate, and vote in the next "Iron Artist Tacoma." At the conclusion of the competition finished works will be modeled in a procession down the plaza ramp. Two winners will be determined, one by jurors and a second by popular vote.
