My Robertson AP300X autopilot (installed June 1995) is on its last legs and
I am replacing it with a SIMRAD NAC-3/AP-48 integrated with their NSS-12
MFD. Since Simrad has acquired Robertson the old reversible pump and RF300
rudder angle indicator feedback unit can still be used.
One component of the old autopilot is still working fine, the AP300 PX
remote control, which is attached by a long cable to the AP300DLX unit at
the helm (I was using this to for rudder angle indicator at the helm but it
still did engage the autopilot.) If anyone wants to give this remote
control a good home I will be happy to mail/UPS it to them if they will pay
me back for the shipping. First responder who gives me a mailing address
will own it. At the time I removed it, it was the sole part of the system
that still gave heading and rudder indications from the Junction Unit. The
other control unit displays had died.
