Hello listserv subscribers, Just a reminder that the CLAW Artist Guild's annual scholarship is accepting applications through September 30th! Our process is simple, click here to view and download the application and list of requirements. <http://www.cartoonistsleague.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/CLAW-Scholarship-application.pdf> *About the Scholarship:* Students pursuing the mystical art of sequential illustration, comics or adjacent majors (animators, this means you too!) in the Pacific Northwest are encouraged to apply. The money provided is for art supplies (we know how expensive it is to make art). This year our award is $555.55, and the winner will be announced on October 12th. *Eligibility:* You must be currently enrolled, or have confirmation of enrollment in, an institution in Washington, Oregon, or Idaho. Besides traditional BA, BFA, MA, and MFA programs, this also includes students attending notable certificate programs (such as the comics certificate offered at the IPRC in Portland, OR). Applications must be postmarked or electronically received by midnight:  September 30th, 2019. There will be no exceptions. Any applications received after September 30th will be disqualified. Applicants must follow application instructions to the letter or will be disqualified without notice. No application or associated documentation will be returned to applicants, (please do not send originals, only copies!) and recipient names will be listed on the CLAW website.
