Hi Richard: Go back in the file  about 6 months and plug in toilets (subject). There is an expert with the name Peggy (I cannot remember her last name). She wrote the book on toilet maintenance which covered most brands. Perhaps some other person on the list will supply further detail. For your concern now, download a copy of the instructions from the maker of the toilet and you will probably find reference to maintenance of same.  Raritan , to my knowledge has always built a reliable toilet.
