The app uses NOAA current data and overlays the data onto a Google Maps background. It displays an arrow indicating both direction and speed (larger the arrow, greater the speed) of flow; like Coastal explorer and other SW and chart plotters. Clicking one of the arrows brings up a data box with slack times, max ebb and flow rates, etc. Date and time-of-day are set when the app is opened, but are easily adjustable to show conditions at a different date/time. This app is very nicely done. I'd rate it at 4 stars, only because It does not use the device's GPS to find itself. But, it's easy to scroll.
