The Pierce Stream Team is in need of volunteers to help with a number of riparian plantings this fall. All projects are from 9 a.m.-12 p.m., and directions and other information are sent upon registration. These plantings help restore streamsides to keep water temperatures cool for fish, provide habit for wildlife, and replace invasive weeds with native trees and shrubs. They are also fun experiences for families, scouts, and anyone who wants to dig in and get their hands dirty for our environment.
