Hi Torsten,

Thank you for your answer, I know both printables and thingiverse, but
those are not places specially for these files, as you already know. I
think they will not be found by all who wants or needs them.
Because you said github is easy and straightforward, no issues at all and
no code related jargon ever, I decided to try it (finally) (insert tongue
in cheek smiley) and I have made my ever first repository.

Please have a look and let me know what you think is wrong or missing.

Thanks again, no kidding, just needed a slight push.

Question is, if I cannot do this directly on github myself,
where can I share these files?

Github is not a bad place for sharing files meant to be used as
library.

To get started, you can ignore all the "clone" and "push" stuff,
create an empty repository and use the "upload file" button to
transfer files. You can also edit text files directly via the
Github web user interface.

Other options are sites like https://www.printables.com/ or
good old, often broken https://www.thingiverse.com/ which are
more focused on final designs, but still work for uploading
related files/libraries.

I'm not sure if you already considered that, but when sharing
your files, it's also important to think about what license you
want to put the files under.

ciao,
Torsten.
