Our 3rd Third Thursday event at the Merlino Art Center is right around the corner! Tacoma artist Alex Lee will have her painting studio open to the public on August 16th for Tacoma's Third Thursday Art Walk. A exhibition featuring recent work of Tacoma artists Alex Lee and Abigail Flynt (ceramics) will be upstairs in the Merlino Art Center in Studio #5. Back by popular request, we will have live music again this month in studio #5! We invite everyone to come out and meet the artists, learn about their processes, and hang out while enjoying some real Tacoma art. END OF SUMMER SALE! Specially priced work will be for sale in Alex Lee's studio, as well as prints, and other merchandise. Major credit cards and cash accepted. HOW DO I GET THERE Start at the Corina bakery on 6th and Fawcett. Walk up the hill on 6th Ave and enter the building through the glass double doors. There will be someone at the front letting people in the building. Each artist's studio is upstairs to the right.
