23 Hawks today including 3 N Harrier, 9 Osprey, 3 Sharp-shinned, 6 Am Kestrel, 1 Peregrine, 1 unid. Buteo. Raptors of dubious migratory status included the 1 in-the-Park Merlin a couple feeding Osprey and a couple TVs. In addition to 17 RT Hummingbirds, there were swarms of swallows. The 195 Tree Swallows and 6 Bank Swallows petered out in mid-morning and the Barn Swallows started up. There were an estimated 460 Barn Swallows. Other counts were loon sp (1), Least Sandpiper (1), BG Gnatcatcher (2), Chimney Swift (20), Cedar Waxwing (80), E Kingbird (2), Com Grackle (12), RW Blackbird (56), Bobolink (48).
