12/6  Milford, Connecticut Audubon Coastal Center.  10am-1PM.  mid-tide
receding, 41F, cloudy.
A few human visitors today.
On the grounds:  The large flock of Starlings continues- conservative
estimate of 200-feeding on marsh edge, bathing and drinking in the fountain
and flying into trees.  One starling had white upper scapulars and a white
back.
18 House sparrows, 2 White throated sparrows, 6 Brown headed Cowbirds,  12
Robins, 2 Mourning doves, 2 Dark eyed juncos, 10 House finches-2 of the
House finches had orange coloration on head & neck.
On the marsh:  15 American Wigeons, 44 Gadwalls, 9 American Black ducks, 1
Great Blue heron feeding in back of marsh, about 50 Dunlin flew in and
feeding, 4 Red breasted mergansers further out in the marsh.  Several gulls
feeding as the tide went out.
