Hi Colleen, There are likely many birders who can do this for the libraries, and I'm one of them. I will call the Cheshire contact, but thought I'd answer you as well. I'm a member/past President of Hartford Audubon and have led a number of bird walks over the years, as well as have taught about birds while as a science teacher (JUST retired!). I'm also on the Canton Land Conservation Trust Board and can include information on places to go birding in CT. Happy to do a training session for new, intermediate,or just curious birders. I can share slides, information, and would include use of our phones (ebird, Merlin and more) as part of the training. Please feel free to pass along my name and contact info.
