Hi Paul,

Thanks for your questions.
Beam is around 23ft at this stage. Aiming for tankage to achieve 3000nm
at 10 knots, will need to see the actual performance when fully loaded.
Hull beam approx 6ft.
Layout is typical of Taiwanese pilothouse mono's of this size. Salon off
the cockpit, raised pilothouse with galley, master in the bow, 2 guest
cabins, 1 in each hull off the salon. One of the guest cabins can double
as office. Flybridge access from Cockpit or galley. 17ft tender space. I
will have layouts on line in the coming months.

I had this layout on Pacific Harmony in a larger format and worked very
well. Will have open flybridge and pilothouse steering station this time
though. Often wished we had a fresh air steering station.

Price is expected to be around USD$1.3-1.5m for a very high fit and
finish. Resin infused and light weight composites adds a little cost
compared to the usual trawlers from Asia but I'm convinced they have the
skill when you offer good QC and guidance. They are so willing. I will
have a western person there full time for the first few boats and make
monthly visits myself to get exactly the boat westerners seek. Most
Asian builders don't own boats so they happily do it your way when you
tell them what you want.

Georg, range on Pacific Harmony was supposed to be 3000nm+ at 10 kts
which in theory would work on her 13000 litre tanks. We loaded 6000l
extra fuel for the Marquesas to Galapagos leg which is 3000nm and only
just made it. Head winds and head current along with the extra fuel
really taxed the slim displacement hulls. Hence, new wider hull shapes
we are looking at allow us to carry more fuel without much difference in
fuel burn and of course, hull interior space that is really useful,
especially around the engine. Many potential buyers of this boat went
cold when they saw the engine rooms with no walk around access. Now we
will have full walk around access with a smaller boat.
Pacific Harmony is cruising the Caribbean. The captain reported they may
put her at Ft Lauderdale show this year, the owner has had his 2 seasons
and may do one more but would like to offer her to the market while he
looks at his last season.

Cheers,
John Winter
