Kent, the current DARA President is on this email list, so he will likely
see your email shortly. I changed the subject to help him spot it
From what I have gleamed out of other conversations, the automated system
is not working. Apparently getting it changed to handle the new location
has been a significant challenge. So they are switching to manual. The
catch with that is the volume of requests for places.
I am sure that they have significant email volume, however if they actually
responded to the first emails their volume would be significantly reduced.
In a way I would rather them getting the assignments done verse responding
to emails. But I feel they did not use the right balance between the two.
Either way it is a really tough year on the committee and there will
continue to be issues. Next year should be more normal.
When you finial get your spaces, I would like to stop by and meet you
during Hamvention. I am likely going to be displaying one of your antennas
during one of the presentations I am doing at a IEEE Symposium in May.
