"Whoo- Hoo!! Happy New Year! As we approach the Winter Carnival on January 25, I am asking for donations toward our raffle baskets. Thank you to those who have given several mats, some sports memorabilia and some healthy snacks. Won't you please consider donating toward this very worthy cause? All of the proceeds from the baskets go towards our annual campaign, which gives scholarships to those who may be unable to afford the cost of memberships. Did you know that our branch has given over $400,000 in scholarships to those in need? Please consider donating anything for our fitness or sports baskets by January 12 (and yes we will accept contributions after that). Your contribution is greatly appreciated.
