LO SAGRADO: LOS CUENTOS DE NUESTRA ALMA
THE SACRED: THE STORIES OF OUR SOUL
National Latinx HIV and AIDS Awareness
Featuring Eileen Jimenez
PCAF Art Gallery celebrates National Latinx HIV and AIDS Awareness with the
colorful art of Eileen Jimenez during the months of October and November,
2019.
A celebrated queer indigenous artist, Eileen creates art from the soul.
Brightly painted canvases and embellished block prints speak to the stories
and strength of Eileen's ancestors, along with the aesthetics of her
Mexican and Otomi heritage--punctuated by Franco-European and Queer
influences.
Lo Sagrado: Los Cuentos de Nuestra Alma / The Sacred: The Stories of Our
Soul is rich with Latinx flavor, family, and folklore, and the significance
of substance and spirit.
All are welcome.
Show runs through November 30, 2019
