Do you want to contribute to the arts programming offered in Tacoma, build community, and benefit from free publicity? Consider submitting your arts activity for inclusion in the 2009 Art at Work: Tacoma Arts Month activity brochure. The Tacoma Arts Commission is seeking submissions for arts activities happening during our eighth annual Art at Work: Tacoma Arts Month this November. We are looking for a variety of activities spanning all categories of art including but not limited to music, visual art, literary art, dance, theater, and film. If you will be hosting an exhibition, performance, class, workshop, reception, lecture, tour, artists' market, celebration, meeting, presentation, or myriad of other programming, let us know. We will list your arts event in the Art at Work: Tacoma Arts Month brochure for free; over 12,000 copies of this brochure are distributed throughout the region. We will also be promoting the many events going on throughout the month in a poster, special promo pieces, at www.TacomaCulture.org, and in advertisements and articles in local and regional papers and magazines. This month would not be possible without the participation of local businesses, organizations, and community members. We encourage you to participate by hosting your own arts activity or event. Deadline for submissions is August 17, 2009. To qualify, your arts activity must be located within the City of Tacoma limits and occur during the month of November. Interested in participating? All you need to do is: 1. Complete the online Activity Submission form at www.tacomaculture.org/arts/Esubmit.asp<http://www.tacomaculture.org/arts/Esubmit.asp> Please note: The online form requires you to choose a login name and password for each entry. If you are submitting multiple events, you will need to create a separate login and password for each listing. DO NOT create multiple entries using the same login name and password - this will write over your previous entries. 2. Optional: Submit a digital image (at least 300 ppi) to be used for promoting this event.
