Hi, I cannot say anything about State Farm, but Boat/US/Geico insured
the Celestial. When Hurricane Michael destroyed her, the claim was
quickly paid. No hassles at all. They looked at the boat, verified the
loss and submitted the paperwork via internet. Check was deposited in in
our account shortly thereafter. They still insure our little runabout.
Oh, they did also verify that it was properly tied - as evidenced by the
fact that it pulled 3 50' pilings out (25' buried in the sand). The 4th
is now angled about 40 degrees from vertical because the lines pulled up
and off the top.
