Hello Gators,

Tomorrow's weather is borderline, but we are going to move the workout outdoors.  The plan is to meet at the Oaks/Egypt Rd./New Mill Rd. trail parking lot in time to start our ride at 7:30am (I.e. please don't pull into the parking lot at 7:30am... It's good to get there 15 minutes before the start time to give you enough time to get set up).

The workout will consist of an SRT ride with 1-2 "out and backs" at Valley Forge Park mixed in so that we can get some hill work.  We'll do a loop that will end around 9am (so that anyone wanting a shorter ride can finish in an hour and a half) and then we'll do a second two hour loop for a grand total of three and a half hours for anyone that does the complete ride.

The predicted weather for the duration of the ride is temps in the upper 40s (will feel like low 40s), sunny, and very WINDY (20-25 MPH).  Plus the rain is supposed to continue until around 2am-5am, so there will likely be some water on the trail and perhaps a bit of debris.

Some brief tips...
. Wear warm clothes/multiple layers and you might want to bring some replacement clothing for the transition between the first and second loop (socks, gloves, outer layer that may be wet from water kicking up from the trail, sunglasses).
. Bring a towel or two.
. Bring a blanket to cover your seat after the ride.
. If you are doing both loops, don't forget to bring some nutrition... You'll need more than just water.
. It's going to be pretty sunny, so you might want to slap on some sunscreen, particularly on your face.
. Pump your tires before you leave home or when you arrive... Don't pump them to the max rated limit... Back off 10-20 PSI.

We'll also do a brief safety review before we start (as we plan to do this year for all outside rides).

We will accommodate multiple pace groups if needed.

See you in the morning!

Don

PS - It is possible that you could join us at 9am for just the two hour portion, but we might be a bit off on our timing so you might have to wait a few minutes and there is some risk that you will miss us.  Our first loop to second loop transition will be very short... Probably less than 5 minutes (for any quick clothes changes and nutrition).

PS 2 - In this week's Gator News I had a note indicating something about a seminar... There is no seminar this week (that note was leftover from last week).
