Painter Audrey Tulimiero Welch from Tacoma will be a guest artist at the
Project-106 Artist Studios, exhibiting new work during
Seattle's First Thursday Art Walk this
Thursday, May 2 from 5-9PM.

Project 106 Studios are located in the
Tashiro Kaplan All-Arts Building in historic Pioneer Square. Address:
106 3rd Avenue South
Seattle, WA 98104
(just under 4Culture at the corner of 3rd Ave S and Yesler Way/Prefontaine
Pl. S intersection)

Hours: Thursday, May 2, 5-9PM.
Friday, May 3, 12-4pm.
By appointment on Saturday, May 4 and
Monday, May 6. To schedule a viewing appointment, please email

"I want my paintings to be torches! I want them to transmit to the viewer
a certain heat and fierceness for life. I want the viewer to find hope in
the fact that my wounds and theirs, though not obliterated, can become
their own kind of fuel, their own kind of illumination.

My newest collection is comprised of an ongoing body of work with the title
FUEL. All the work in this series investigates this gorgeous palette of
corals, blue-black, gold, warm and cool whites, taken from a 15th century
Italian medieval painting from Rome in the Barbarier Palace." - Audrey
