Ontario Rare Bird Alert for the week starting July 16, 2021

NEOTROPIC CORMORANT (Hamilton)
Black Vulture (Niagara)
Western Kingbird (Rainy River)
Western Meadowlark (Middlesex)
Blue Grosbeak (Norfolk)
Eurasian Collared-Dove (Essex): One bird was reported along Hey 77 just
north of Leamington on July 16.
White-winged Dove (Ottawa): one bird was enjoyed by many at the Fletcher
Wildlife Garden in Ottawa July 17-18.
NEOTROPIC CORMORANT (Hamilton). One bird was found July 17 in Cootes
Paradise and was seen again the next day.
Black Vulture (Niagara): Two birds were reported in Queenston July 17.
Western Kingbird (Rainy River): one bird was on Sable Island July 16.
Western Meadowlark (Middlesex): One bird continued on Newbiggen Drive near
Glencoe this week.
Blue Grosbeak (Norfolk): The young male continued, being seen and heard
pretty much daily in the field at the SE corner of Hwy 24 and E Quarter
Line, north of Port Rowan.
